Question for event planners re: golf outing insurance?

I am coordinating a fund-raising golf outing for a chamber of commerce. Do you have any experience with purchasing golf outing insurance and can you recommend any dos or don’ts when working with a golf outing insurance company for hole in one contests, putting contests, event prizes, etc.?

I can’t speak specifically to what you should seek in terms of outing insurance. I can tell you I have associated with Douglas Burkert, the president of the National Hole In One Association.

He has always seemed like a decent guy, and the events in which they participate have been well-run. I believe they also bill themselves as the largest such organization in the country. You can check out their site via the link below.
