Certified Special Events Planner (CSEP) or Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)?

anybody know how and where i can be accredited as a Certified Special Events Planner (CSEP) or Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)? thanks.

CSEP is issued by ISES – the International Special Events Society (www.ises.com)

Before you go to all of the trouble to become certified with either your CSEP or your CMP talk to some of your clients and see if it really makes a difference to them wether you are certified or not.

In my experience neither one of those certifications increases business or revenue so why bother? Why not spend your time making money instead of taking classes.
